Next generation lie detector algorithms and techniques are set to come to the fore and make a profound impact on society as described in previous writing. Next generation lie detector evidence will be considered evidential enough by courts to be admissible in criminal trials at some point in the following years.


Politicians should now come out and announce that legislation will be drafted that prevents the conviction of citizens based on lie detector evidence before a certain "line in the sand" date which coincides with their announcement.


Doing this will warn citizens about the impending use of such technology in court and will greatly reduce serious criminality at the same time. It is estimated by this think tank that we can expect a 50% drop in serious crime when people know they could be convicted in future by lie detector evidence. Incidents of rape and child molestation could by cut by 85%.
