Combatting online child pornography

More and more countries are adopting A.I. for gait and facial recognition for use with C.C.T.V. cameras. On top of this the proliferation of social media accounts along with accompanying photographs present an opportunity for Governments to identify persons of interest.

One of those opportunities would be to identify both victims of, and perpetrators of child sexual abuse due to online child pornography.

There are several key markers which can be identified in illegal online images which can tie photographic subjects to real world C.C.T.V. footage or a social media avatar. Markers such as gait, identifiable features of retina, visable veins, body ratios, creases on the back of the knee area and birth marks etc can be combined to identify individuals who appear in child pornographic material.

Facial recognition will not be effective for this task as perpetrators do not show their face often and childrens facial ratios change quickly due to rapid development. Social media companies can be incentivised  be Governments to search for victims and abusers by implementing the addition of an A.I. algorithum and C.C.T.V. systems can be adapted to look for matches. We estimatemate that around 25% of perpetrators and 30% of victims can be identified and as such we recommend that Governments worldwide opt to use a.I. for this purpose.

The other area in which A.I. could be useful to combat child pornography is it is possible to identify locations used to produce child pornography. The A.I can identify the dimensions of a room by calculating which acoustic space corresponds with the acoustic signature of reverberation present with the subjects voice. Furthermore light ray tracing analysis can provide evidence of the rooms dimensions as well. It is our hope that architects blueprints can be compared to the known dimensionality of the space identified by A.I., resulting in convictions. Government intelligence agencies or police should posses these capabilities as soon as possible.
